The essentials on submissions, scoring, and what happens after your product goes live.
Read the full rulebook →ValidateHunt is a weekly product competition where indie makers validate one another’s launches. Instead of joining a passive link directory, you review other products before your own listing goes live and competes on the public board.
Yes. There is no weekly cap or paid placement. The board keeps a floor of 10 by relaunching recent products from earlier weeks, but new submissions are always accepted above that number.
Enter your product URL, verify your email, and complete the product details we could not pre-fill. Then review 3 assigned launches. Once you finish those reviews, your listing goes live and starts collecting feedback.
Each maker distributes exactly 20 points across 3 products, with 10 points as the maximum for any one product. Scores and reviews stay with a product across weekly relaunches, and each maker can review a product only once. A product needs 3 reviews to qualify.
No. Reviews are attached to a public maker identity backed by a verified email account, so feedback stays accountable. Connecting an X profile is optional. Once a score is submitted, it cannot be edited or deleted.
You can never review your own product. Assignments prioritize launches with the fewest reviews, are locked to the submission session, and cannot be rerolled for easier targets. The fixed point budget also prevents giving every product a perfect score.
Each competition runs from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC. The board is live during the week, then freezes at close. The highest-scoring qualified product earns the week winner badge.
Every listing starts with a nofollow link. Verify the product hostname with the ValidateHunt badge or a DNS TXT record to earn a Verified chip, board highlight, dofollow link, and eligibility for the monthly winners review.
Products added late are first in line for an automatic relaunch. At the next weekly reset, ValidateHunt fills any empty places up to 10 from the most recently added products, searching older weeks if needed. Relaunched entries are never displaced by later submissions.
